On Sunday, we went to the church in Xing Wang village to worship God together with Akha sisters and brothers. The pickup was stopped at the entrance of the worship hall. The moment we jumped out of the truck, we heard the English worship song Holy Forever playing inside the hall. We were very surprised and moved.

PY preached on “worthy of the calling” from 2 Thessalonians 1:1–4, 11–12 to encourage the congregation to stay steadfast and faithful when enduring affliction, to increase love for one another, and to grow abundantly in faith. PY shared that when he was little, his maternal grandmother was wronged by his paternal grandmother. Each time, she would go to her small bed, weep, and read the Bible. That grandmother led all six grandchildren to believe in Jesus—three of them are now pastors, and the others serve as deacons in their churches. Though I had heard the story before, it still deeply touched me.
I briefly shared a testimony about YF and YSF at ECC, which currently needs a youth pastor. I encouraged the church members, transition team, coworkers, and parents to work together to fill the gap and continue serving the children.
After the worship service and lunch, we began the medical outreach. Around 20 people came—not as many as expected, perhaps due to heavy rain on Saturday night and the ongoing harvest season.

November is the birthday month of Jia Mei, You Mei, and Lee. Lee’s birthday was actually just yesterday. Mei Qin hosted a simple birthday party for them. PY offered a blessing prayer, and good friends came to celebrate together.

On Monday, we will fly to Cambodia and reunite with the Cambodian team in Phnom Penh to begin Gospel Week at the girls’ school. Please pray for a smooth transfer in Bangkok and great teamwork during the week. All the craft materials have been shipped and received by the school.
Thanks for your prayers.
