Gospel week: Final day
It’s hard to believe our last day of Gospel Week is already here. Our hearts are very full. Today at the school was all about finishing well. The kids had a great time with their final crafts. They made beautiful fans, which they really liked watching spin and the lower-grade students also made glittering sensory bottles. Before lunch, we gathered the whole school together for one final assembly. PY gave a wonderful closing speech, encouraging the children and then praying ov

Gospel week Day 4
Day 4 began with a devotion led by Peipei from Romans 10:13-18. Our job isn't to be the most eloquent speakers, the most talented musicians, or the most creative crafters. Our job is simply to be faithful messengers of "the word about Christ." At the morning assembly, Vanny shared a beautiful, short message on the color white, representing a clean heart, washed free from sin by Jesus. We’ve been praying for God to show us how to step in and serve, and today He answered that p

Gospel Week Day 3
Our third day began with our team devotion, led by Ken. He shared from Genesis 12:4 and Romans 9:24, reminding us that God calls people from all nations. Our job is to be like Abram and to faithfully obey His call and "go" wherever He tells us. Sometimes that "going" means getting on a plane to Cambodia. Other times, it means loving someone right in front of us who might be difficult to love. In either case, when we obey, we get to be a part of His work. After his sharing, Ke

Gospel week Day 2
Our second day began with breakfast and a powerful devotion led by PY. We read Psalm 67 together, which set the tone for our entire day. It was such a timely reminder of why we are here: to let people know God and praise Him. The message was clear: God is in control, and our job, big or small, is to give ourselves to the Lord, ask for His help, and enjoy the fellowship we have. It was a good way to start, remembering those in poverty and their deep need for the Lord. When we

Gospel Week Day 1
Our day started with breakfast, followed by a team devotion led by Stan. He shared from 1 Corinthians 3:5-9, which was the perfect message for our first day of serving. It was a powerful reminder that our job is to be faithful servants who do the specific work God has given us. We were reminded that we can't and shouldn't worry about the results, because the "growth" is God's job alone. We really took that message to heart as we headed out for the day. When we got to the scho

Cambodia Day 0
We’ve made it! After many hours of travel, our team has officially and safely landed in Cambodia. We are so incredibly thankful to God for watching over us on the journey and bringing us here without any issues. As soon as we stepped off the plane, that warm, humid air hit us! Some sugar cane juice and fresh coconut water helped cool us down. We have to give a huge thank you to God for Rosana, who has worked tirelessly organizing all the logistics to get us here and settled i

Final Team Meeting Before Mission Trip
On October 19, 2025, the entire team gathered for our final meeting before departing for the mission trips. The sisters prepared delightful desserts and fruits for the group. Rebecca made sweet red bean sticky rice, Davy creatively prepared a steamed pumpkin filled with pudding in the center, and Rosana shared yellow watermelon likened to pineapple with the group. PY brought immense joy, as always, with jokes that eased everyone and fostered unity. For the Cambodian gospel we
