Our second day began with breakfast and a powerful devotion led by PY. We read Psalm 67 together, which set the tone for our entire day. It was such a timely reminder of why we are here: to let people know God and praise Him. The message was clear: God is in control, and our job, big or small, is to give ourselves to the Lord, ask for His help, and enjoy the fellowship we have. It was a good way to start, remembering those in poverty and their deep need for the Lord.

When we got to the school, we were in time to join the kids for their morning assembly, which was a wonderful way to start the day with some praise songs. There's something special about hearing everyone sing praise songs together, and it was a joy to see Margie lead them. After that beautiful time of worship, Davy gave the day's short message, tackling the serious and important topic of the color black and how it represents sin.

After the assembly, we had about an hour to prep for the craft, and we were a little nervous. Today's craft was much more complex than yesterday's. On top of that, we had to adapt it for the different age groups;flower fans for the older students and "heart waterfalls" for the first graders. We also had to get creative, and we're thankful God was good in helping us figure out how to make the crafts work with the materials we had.

Rosana did an amazing job quickly teaching the team, but our biggest change was our strategy. Remembering yesterday's chaos, we decided not to teach the kids ourselves. Instead, we taught the local teachers first and let them guide the students in small groups.

The teachers were amazing. They patiently broke down the difficult tasks and helped the students step-by-step. The craft we were so worried about turned into a complete success, all thanks to this teamwork. We're thanking God for showing us a better way to work together.

It’s so cute and creative that the kids made the flower fan into headbands XD

For dinner, we were invited by the missionaries from 十金边基督教会恩典堂 Phnom Penh Grace Christian Church to visit them and learn about their ministry here in Cambodia. It was so encouraging to meet them, and we also got to connect with some Chinese short-term missionaries from Calgary Canada. We ended the night hearing Minister Lo's powerful testimony. She was very open about her struggle, explaining that she didn't like Cambodia at first and wanted to go home. But she chose to obey God's call, and He has blessed that faithfulness by growing the ministry through her. She also shared their greatest challenge, which is a significant need for more co-workers to help with the growing ministry.

It was a full day, and hearing Minister Lo's testimony was a powerful reminder of the need here.

On a very happy note, our T-shirts arrived! We are so thankful, especially since this means we don't have to wash our clothes every single night now.

Please pray for us as we head into Day 3:

• For Our Lesson: Pray for clarity as we teach the color red and for the kids' hearts to be open.

• For Lunch with Teachers: The space where the teachers eat lunch is very limited, so not all of our team members can join. Please pray specifically for those who are able to eat with the teachers, that they can have great conversations and truly bond and connect with them.
