It’s hard to believe our last day of Gospel Week is already here. Our hearts are very full.

Today at the school was all about finishing well. The kids had a great time with their final crafts. They made beautiful fans, which they really liked watching spin and the lower-grade students also made glittering sensory bottles.

Before lunch, we gathered the whole school together for one final assembly. PY gave a wonderful closing speech, encouraging the children and then praying over them. We all joined him in praying that these kids would grow in their faith and learn to trust the one true God.

As a final treat, we passed out small gifts and candies for all the children. It was such a simple thing, but it was great to see the huge smiles on their faces.

Then it was time to say goodbye, which was surprisingly tough. It's amazing how a bond can grow in just five days. It started with shy smiles, but by the end of the week, we were greeted every morning with a round of high fives and even some hugs. Those simple gestures of acceptance and affection made us feel connected to them, and we will truly miss seeing their faces every day.

Reflecting on this past week, we are just in awe. It was a week of "firsts" and challenges. There’s a lot we’d do differently! But through it all, we saw God prove Himself faithful. Even when our plans failed, His plan did not. We are so humbled to see how God took all our imperfect efforts, made everything "work out" for the success of this Gospel Week, and brought 140 children to receive Christ.

After lunch, we were invited by Maggie from the Pleroma Girls' High School for a tour. She gave us an overview of their incredible history and the full scope of Pleroma’s ministry. It is a truly holistic work, designed to cover everything from rescue to prevention from labor, sex, and marriage trafficking. To do this, their ministry includes a primary girls' school, a community center, the girls' high school, a home for girls, and a home for women.

It’s an amazing and important ministry, but they also have a lot of needs. They are praying to continue to grow and help even more girls, and they need a lot of support from partners like us.

We want to invite you to join us in supporting this incredible long-term work. They shared their prayer requests with us:

Pleroma is doing incredible, long-term work, and they shared their specific needs with us. Please join us in praying for them:

For Financial Support:

• Pray for their daily operations and for God to provide new, long-term church partners.

• Pray for funding to send the girls to universities so they can build a sustainable future.

For More Staff (Mid-term Missionaries):

• Pray for people willing to come for a few months or a year to serve.

• They have a specific need for chemistry lab teachers, as well as teachers in English, music, art, sports, and more.

For Short-term Mission Teams:

• Pray for God to send teams and individuals who can:

• Support students emotionally through music and art therapy.

• Connect with the students through sports (they love volleyball!).

• Help lead their many camps and programs, including:

• Annual Gospel Camp (130+ students)

• VBS at the primary school (60+ students)

• Transition and adjustment camps for students

For Fundraising & Their Social Enterprise:

• Pray for God to provide funding for their other specific needs and projects.

• Pray for the success of their Social Enterprise, which supports women through the sale of handmade products.

Please Also Pray for Our Team's Second Week!

Our time at the primary school is over, but our mission continues. We are now heading into our second week, where we will be serving at the Home for Girls and the Girls' High School.
